This is a design concept for the popular show Avatar: The Last Airbender. I decided to use the insignia from each of the four nations (Fire, Water, Earth & Air) and created a large, minimalist print for the front of the shirts. Needless to say, any design can be applied to my t-shirt template, and I can fulfill any design request that a client may have.
Idea for a t-shirt print bouncing around your brain? I can make it happen.
Yet another doodle (eventually I’ll draw something a little more detailed), this one inspired by Halloween. While this piece narrowly escaped the bin, I decided to follow through with it anyway, bringing this creepy imp to life.
While I am by no means of Swiss origin, I do subscribe to the ‘international typographic style’ known as Swiss design. Swiss design is minimalistic, clean and precise and has influenced designers (myself included) for decades.
While flat design is definitely trending for 2013-2014, that doesn’t mean I can’t showcase a bit of shininess. Pictured above and below are examples of gloss ‘glass’ type icons, similar to the Windows Aero theme. Though flat design is certainly stylish, glossiness will always be able to turn heads.
These are examples of multi-textured icons set beneath a layer of gloss, giving it a three-dimensional quality.
This is a concept design for the types of vinyl stickers you see plastered to skateboards, surfboards and cars. As a rule, these designs are limited to one or two colours (usually black or white) and are fairly easy to produce. These types of stickers are very popular with skateboarders and can be a great promotional tool for your brand.
